Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Mai

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, a guide will meet you at the arrival lobby and transfer you to the hotel. Free pick-up service is available for flights arrive from 09:00am to 22:00pm. The rest of the day is free at leisure. No meals are arranged today.

Day 2: Chiang Mai

After breakfast, proceed to the Maetaeng Elephant Camp, where you can have an up-close experience with the elephant. Ride an elephant with a tropical view and enjoy activities such as painting show from the elephant, bamboo rafting, ox cart rides, get to learn Thailand’s rural way of life, and more. Moreover, this is not just an elephant camp but also a free elephant clinic where all the funding is from the Park which means that you won’t just be enjoying your time with elephants but you are also helping the elephant life that needs help! Enjoy the buffet lunch at the elephant camp. Afterward, visit the Kayan tribe. People who live here are known for wearing neck rings for years to lengthen their necks until they get married. Later on, visit Wat Ban Den. It is so called – Blue Temple, which is named due to the color of the main structure. Last stop, head to Elephant Poopoo Paper Park. This park creates a paper by the poo from elephants, in order to maintain and keep a good eco-friendly environment. After, DIY a bookmark at the park. Today’s dinner is arranged on own. (B/L)

Day 3: Chiang Mai

This morning, head out for a tour of Chiang Mai. Drive up the serpentine road to the magnificently situated Wat Doi Suthep. Perched on a forested mountain, this most sacred Chiang Mai Temple provides a superb view over the city, as well as a wealth of images and frescos. Then visit the summer palace of the royal family of Thailand- Pu Ping Palace. A royal winter palace where the Thai royal comes to enjoy the nice weather that Chiang Mai got to offer during the winter. As it located in the mountain and is in the north region, the weather is incredibly nice compared to Bangkok or in a town. You will be surrounded by beautiful flowers and gardens that will make your day better from the smell. However, it is important to remember no shorts or any reveal clothes at the palace. Enjoy the Empress/Dongtan buffet for lunch. Afterward, take a ride on Tuk Tuk, the traditional public transportation in Thailand. While on the ride, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city. Tour the night market in Chiang Mai. Along the road, there are many vendors selling fruits, snacks and art crafts. Return to the hotel afterward. Today’s dinner is arranged on own. (B/L)

Day 4: Chiang Mai Bangkok

After breakfast, head to Baan Tawai Village located 25 kilometers from the outskirts of Chiang Mai. There are several family craft workshops. The whole village is engaged in wood carving, where you can know more about the wood carving process and buy the art crafts. After lunch, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, proceed to the hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is on your own arrangement. Free at leisure. (B/L)

Day 5: Bangkok

After breakfast, proceed to The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where Thai people still keep the traditional way to trade in Bangkok. This place is highly rated by many independent travelers who like to explore the local and culture. For lunch, guests can enjoy all kinds of Thai cuisine and snacks at the market at own expense. After lunch, return to Bangkok to visit the Grand Palace. The palace represents the spirit of Thailand, including the collections of drawings, sculptures, and structures. Near the palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha is also a well-known spot for tourists. This temple is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand. This evening, enjoy the traditional Thai dishes at Savoey Thai restaurant. (B/D)

Day 6: Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Bangkok

This morning, coach to Ayutthaya to visit the summer palace of Thai Kings, Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. The palace combines the styles of Myanmar, Thailand, China, and Gothic architecture. Later, proceed to Ayothaya Floating Market to experience the fun of a boat ride. Enjoy the traditional Thai dance and taste all kinds of delicious food here. This afternoon, visit Wat Mahathat, one of the oldest Buddhist temples, where the famous Buddha in a tree is located. Today’s lunch and dinner are arranged on own. (B)

Day 7: Departure Bangkok

 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to the home city. (9:00 am depart for the airport. (B)
